Well it's about half an hour since you guys dropped me off and they're having me write an email to you just saying that in that half hour I haven't died yet, haha! It's super crazy, tons of missionaries and everything is super fast paced but there are lots of people around to help. Feels good! I'm sure I'll have more to say later.
First P-Day email:
So turns out P-day for me in the MTC is on Saturday so who knew. It's also sooooo busy. We are constantly just running around so I won't have a whole lot of time to write. But things are going well :) There is so much stuff I want to write but I am so scatterbrained right now it's hard to think of everything but I'll do my best. First thing is I wanted to ask Dad if he knew anything about the mission president in Pusan around 2015. He is one of the MTC presidents. I'll see if I can get his name next time. I also hope somebody will get back to me if the Clark's know a president Mullen that was the mission president in Spokane from 2011-2014 I believe. Not sure but I thought he knew the president a few years back. Anyway, his twin brother is our Branch President. Oh, by the way (this will show you how scatterbrained I really am, haha!) I forgot to mention I got assigned to be the District Leader for our district! That's going to take some getting used to but it's going good I think.
First impressions of the MTC:
Well...talk to Ryan Worthen and I bet what he says is pretty similar to what I'd say. But, it's all good. I have learned a lot of things. Me and my companion (Elder Gardner) get along real well, but we don't mesh very well yet. We just think differently. It's been a little hard to teach and function when we both have very different ideas. But that's probably to be expected and I've only been here for 3 days so I'm sure we'll figure things out.
Something that is really cool is I have really felt a love for whoever I am teaching! We had some investigators come in and all the new missionaries got a chance to kind of do a Q and A as a group with them and they were just complete strangers but I really felt a strong desire to help and teach them. Almost responsible for them. One of our teachers said that is something that comes from being a set apart missionary.
Spiritual thought of the week:
The impossible can become possible when we focus on Jesus Christ. This is what the doctrine of Christ is truly about. This is what will help investigators through difficult times. Read Alma 7 verses 30 and 31 I believe (the ones where it talks about he suffered pains and afflictions of every kind so that he could know best how to help us) and really study and think about what those verses mean when pertaining to the gospel of Christ.

I love you all!! When I start to feel a little lonely it really
does help feel the love from back home. There is a real definite
learning curve that is happening but I know I'm where I'm supposed to
be.
P.S. We had a pretty gnarly water fight between the two districts on our floor and I'm happy to report that our district still holds the banner. Fight on brothers.
