Baptisms! (3/5/18)

Well we got wrecked with snow this morning completely out of the blue but hey it's all good because the baptisms went really well!!! Jeremy was all smiles the whole day which was awesome to see. Elder Anderson had the opportunity to baptize him and I gave a talk on baptism. Jeremy said something when we got finished that I thought was super cool. He said "I know this is going to be a good thing for my life. I've lost a lot of friends because I did this but that's alright. They just don't understand. I have no problem standing out." Brian was able to come to the Hollingsworth baptisms and we talked to him a bit. He's been really struggling lately. Satan is not making life easy for him right now. His parents have all but disowned him, lots of his connections with people around have broken off, sicknesses, dropping cash to fix his gnarly fj cruiser, to name a few. But we were talking to him about it and He reassured us by saying "I won't quite. I know this is the devil trying to get me to not do it bit I've come too far to back down now."

I'm constantly amazed by their faith and determination. It's a real builder for me to see them go forward through so much opposition. I'm thankful for the priesthood and for the blessings that come through it. Baptism is not a means to an end bit a new beginning and it's awesome to them take these first steps.

Brian is on for next week and that should be awesome too!! We've got a dinner appointment with him up in the Yaak which is the national forest above troy and Libby. It's about an hour drive and he offered to take us up there so we'll have a good conversation with him then.

Sorry it's short but love to all until next week!
