Progress Slow but Steady!

Another good o'l dandy week in Kamiah. The weeks are hauling by and it's kinda crazy to be honest.

This was a pretty good week as far as finding goes. We received a referral from mormon.org. Her name is Michelle and her son is a recent convert and so she wanted to meet with us to find out more. We also met with one of our referrals that we had some trouble finding because the address was bad. Her name is Kathy and she is very VERY Christian. She reads the bible a lot, but doesn't attend a church because she doesn't know which one is right *cough Joseph Smith cough.* She has met with four sets of missionaries in the past and likes a lot of what the LDS Church believes. The only problem is...she's read the Book of Mormon before and knows about the whole "asking with real intent"  but she doesn't feel like she has received an answer. She said she will jump in 100 percent if she receives a convincing witness, but hasn't been given that yet. We'll see if we can help her receive that.

Had a pretty good lesson with Jesse this week, even though his great aunt came out and started to anti us DURING our lesson! But he didn't seem fazed by it so that was good. Something I have noticed with Jesse is he thinks really really deep and gets hung up on little things. But as I testified this week I tried to be more bold and I could feel power behind what I said. I hope that had an effect with him.

Other than that it hasn't been a super eventful week but we are making progress with Jesse and hopefully will have some new investigators soon so the work rolls on.

Love to all,

Elder Herd
