12/18/17 Letter

Hello from snowy Chewelah where we just recently got transfer calls and I will be staying another transfer in C-Town with Elder Fisher! Pretty stoked about that, I think we've been making an impact. So updates. Well we haven't had a chance to meet with Jacob for a week or so. We normally schedule things through Austin and his phone has been wacked as of late so it's been hard to schedule, and also Jacob recently got a job out in Ritzville (where my first trainer Elder Lofgren went, but I don't think he's there anymore) so hopefully we can still meet with him a bit before he makes the move out there. We also ran into a less active part member family who the missionaries before us were meeting with. They were super excited to see us and we have a lesson scheduled with them this week. They apparently have had a change of heart towards the church so we may see where this goes.They have a daughter who is not been baptized.

Other than that we've been knocking a lot of doors out in the snow. It's actually a blast going out in the snow but I like snow so that's no surprise haha!! I have a picture of the snow as well as our Christmas Tree that takes up the whole apartment!! We asked a member if they knew of anywhere that wasn't private land that we could go get a little charlie brown tree and they said to just go out behind their house so we went a got a tree this morning! It's a bit bigger than a charlie brown tree though. We had to stand it up by cutting the top off a traffic cone and then tacking it to the ceiling. But I forgot my card reader to send the pics...but I may be able to send those later today.
