When it's cold take a walk outside and you'll still be cold

Well this week was tons and tons of walking. Quite a bit of tracting with not a whole lot of success but we were able to get out a bunch of Light the World cards (#lighttheworld). Fun fact about light the world: Last December the church received more referrals because of light the world than all the other months of the year COMBINED.  Light the World is powerful, let the numbers speak for themselves. Pretty neat huh? But although the week was a little bit slower our man Jacob is progressing really well!! Austin taught him the Plan of Salvation TWICE and gave him a whole lot of scriptures and Jacob said that it makes sense! Plan of Salvation sometimes doesn't even make sense to me haha but Jacob is eating it up. We taught him the Gospel of Jesus Christ (after having elk burgers. We joke with the Smith's that the only reason we are teaching Jacob at their house is to eat their food) and he seemed to enjoy that as well. Austin voiced some concerns that he hopes Jacob isn't thinking about being baptized simply because he wants him to, so we're being careful to make sure we're not pressuring him too much but we still may have a baptism on our hands by the end of the year if all goes well!

PS: A little explanation with the pics. We were tracting around and found this house with a whole bunch of chickens and ducks and a goose and when they saw us it was an army coming at us haha. And here's for you Dad. The golf course up here is pretty sweet and the street signs are all golf terms. Also a pic of when my hair was all short and stuff.​
