It Kind of Snowed (5/21/18)

So... It kinda snowed...? Or it might be just cotton from the trees. You decide. Pics below. (if you have seasonal allergies I would strongly recommend you don't come to Pullman in the spring or your life very well may be in danger.)

Hello all! This week was a bit of a slower week unfortunately. It was looking real solid at the start but we had a lot of appointments fall through. So that attributed to a lot of walking on our part. I think we averaged about 7 miles a day up and down the gigantic hills. But it's all good! We get to see a lot of people. But yeah we only had one or two lessons this week. We met with Marquis on Tuesday. He seemed pretty interested in the concept of our beliefs and so we'll (hopefully) see him tomorrow and teach about the plan of salvation. We mentioned a little bit of that last time and he was really intrigued. We also finally caught William and Viviana at home. Viviana was really upset at us because we moved her baptism again and because of this she said that she didn't want to be baptized anymore. We took that as a sign that we made a good choice delaying it because she wasn't ready. But we talked with her and said that we would teach her everything she needs to know for and about baptism and then after we that we'll see if she changes her mind. I'm sure she will. And William is slowly doing well. He recognizes that he's not ready for baptism and yet and although he's progressing slowly its nice that he's able to work with us on that.

Other than that we didn't have a whole lot of contact with people that we're working with. We had a lot of tracting this week. We did a cool thing this week where we would do quick little two or three question surveys at the door instead of regular missionary approaches. It gets people talking and engaging a lot better and we were able to save a few doors that would have just immediately closed on us haha. Although we didn't find any investigators per say we were able to have some good discussions with people. It was interesting that lots of people don't have the best feelings about organized religion. They recognize that there was an apostasy but they don't make the connection that therefore there needs to be a restoration. Been doing a lot of studying on that lately. I'm super grateful for the reality of the Restoration of the gospel.

Love to all until next week!
