Well, transfers are this week and after serving two transfers in Kamiah I'll be shipping out and sweeping into the Chewelah ward this Thursday. I don't know much about it other than it is up in the top part of our mission on the Washington side, near Colville. It's apparently boons as well!! Not as boony as Kamiah but I haven't been banished to a city yet, yee yee!Well this week was another somewhat slow one BUT fear not. We had a pretty good lesson with Jesse that boosts spirits. We watched the Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration video with him and then just had a chat with him afterwards. And we FINALLY convinced him that he had not in fact committed the "unpardonable sin" HAHA! He told us that he was really appreciative of what we were doing and that the things we've been telling him have helped him relieve some fears and concerns of his. That really made all the frustration worth it. It's a rush when an investigator applies what you learn. We were thinking that he's ready to start moving towards baptism (too bad I won't be there for it, gosh dang it). We also had Sarah and Cory attend church this week as well as another potential I haven't mentioned before so not too bad a week.
Also, I thought I should mention that there is a war going on between the Orofino Elders and us. A war of DoTerra. On exchanges this week Elder Andrews came down to Kamiah with me and dealt the first blow to Elder Davis' planner. But Elder Davis retaliated by basically just unloading two bottles of oil on literally everything Elder Andrews has, haha! Pencils, his bed frame, everything. Kamiah-1, Orofino-0. Haha, I'm gonna miss this place.
Well, gotta launch, not a whole lot of time to email today. It's zone p-day and we have to drive up to Lewistank but love to all from up river. Next time you hear from me I'll be up north.
