Ni-hao all! Thursday was transfers so we picked up the two new Taiwanese visa waiters and brought them down to Pullman along with the other zone leader. I've learned some pretty useful words in Chinese, like dog and messy cake! So in English when you drop something or stub your toe you say "dang" right? Apperently in Taiwanese culture when you do something similar, what you say translates to "messy cake". And if you see someone walking down the street we would normally say "hi, how are you doing?" but they would say "have you eaten until you are filled?" Kinda fun.
But unfortunately I have bad news. We picked up the visa waiters and got back to the apartment Thursday evening after their new missionary training up in Spokane, and we got a call Friday morning that their visas came in so they'll be leaving to go up to Spokane today and fly out tomorrow. We've been busy getting them ready to head out and get everything arranged today so not a whole lot of time to write today but my new companion is Elder King and he's a super good missionary, should be a fun transfer. I'm excited.
Love to all!
